The Rev. Oscar A. Rozo was born in Bogotá, Colombia. His father and mother grounded both he, and his two younger brothers in Christian beliefs and practices through their example and teaching. After being ordained priest in 2012 he served as priest in charge at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Watertown, WI, St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Whitewater WI, and St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Beaver Dam WI. He served as college chaplain for the Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry in Whitewater, WI. He has also been the missioner for the Comunidad de Todos los Santos in Watertown, WI and the Latino Missioner at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Sun Prairie, WI. As a hospital chaplain he completed CPE units at Aurora Medical Center, Zion Medical Center and West Allis Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. He is married to the Rev. Elizabeth Tester and together they have two children, Ezekiel (Zeke) and Miriam (Mimi), and have a cat named Bathsheba (Sheebs) and a dog named Amos (Aimes). He is passionate about social justice, multicultural ministry, and community development. He enjoys playing and listening to music, hiking and family time.
